Smiljan Radić designed this home with the elegance of two simple forms: a right triangle with a single pitched roof and a gabled equilateral triangle. This project in particular focused on the differing sizes which allowed a flat deck to lie properly on the side of a v wood framing of the building and then deck below. The buildings were a simple A frame, whereas the deck had 150 columns to allow there to be a horizontal plane on the side of a volcano.
